There’s something about having a fresh set of nails that makes even the most mundane errands feel a little more put together. Unfortunately, between booking a nail appointment, sitting through it, and paying the bill, maintaining a salon-worthy manicure can start to feel like a part-time job.

So, when I discovered Bloom Nails, I was ready to see whether a set of press-ons could give me that just-left-the-salon feeling without the appointment, the price tag, or the commitment.

I had one question going into this: Could a set of press-on nails actually look and feel like I had just gotten my nails done?

And because apparently I cannot be trusted to make a simple decision, choosing a set was its own challenge.

First Things First: Picking a Set Was Harder Than Expected

Navigating the Bloom Nails website was refreshingly easy. Everything was straightforward, and browsing the different designs was actually pretty enjoyable.

The problem wasn't finding something I liked. It was narrowing down the options to just one.

Every design seemed to have something going for it, and I could have easily convinced myself that ordering multiple sets was a perfectly reasonable financial decision. I mean, they're nails. They're practical. They're beautiful. Clearly, I needed them all.

Eventually, I chose the Rosy Milk Tea set.

The soft, rosy color and delicate design were exactly what I was looking for: something pretty, polished, and versatile. It was the kind of manicure that could work with just about anything, which is ideal when I don't necessarily have the time to coordinate my nails with my outfit.

Of course, the real test would be whether they looked as good in person as they did on the website.

All I've Ever Wanted Is In The Box

When my Bloom Nails package arrived, I was immediately impressed by the presentation.

The packaging was beautiful, and opening it felt more like receiving a little at-home manicure kit than a simple pack of press-on nails.

And Bloom Nails did not skimp on the extras.

Inside, I found the nails themselves, along with nail glue, a glue applicator brush, a nail remover brush, a buffer, a nail file, cuticle tools, alcohol wipes, and instructions explaining how to apply and remove the nails.

Basically, everything I needed was right there. No scrambling through my bathroom drawers looking for a file I hadn't seen since approximately 2023. No realizing halfway through the process that I was missing something important.

I also appreciated that the instructions covered both application and removal. Press-ons are convenient, but I'd prefer to take them off without accidentally taking half my natural nails with them.

The included tools made the entire experience feel thoughtfully put together, especially for someone who doesn't have a full nail-care kit sitting around.

Applying My Nails

I'll admit that I'm not the most experienced person when it comes to applying press-on nails. I wanted something relatively simple to put on, natural-looking, and secure enough to stay in place without requiring me to develop an entirely new skill set.

Thankfully, the sizing process was straightforward.

The instructions were easy to follow, and figuring out which nails belonged on which fingers was simple. No watching five different tutorials before getting started, which is always a plus.

One thing I was particularly excited to try was the nail glue applicator brush.

I'd never used that type of applicator before, so naturally, I was curious. I ended up using it to apply my nails, and it made the process feel much more controlled than I expected.

Being able to brush on the glue gave me more precision during application. It was one of those small details that made the entire experience easier.

Once the nails were on, I took a moment to appreciate them.

And honestly? I was impressed.

Do Bloom Nails Look as Good in Person?

Yes. Absolutely.

The Rosy Milk Tea nails were just as beautiful in person as they were in the product photos.

Let's be real. There's always a chance that a beauty product ordered online will look suspiciously different from what you thought you were getting. Thankfully, that wasn't the case here.

The color was gorgeous, the design looked polished, and the overall finish gave me exactly what I wanted from a manicure.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality. Right away, the nails felt thick and sturdy rather than thin or flimsy.

They didn't have that obviously temporary appearance I sometimes associate with press-ons. Instead, they looked and felt like a professionally done set.

And that was really the biggest selling point for me.

I wanted nails that looked like I'd made an appointment, sat in a salon chair, and let someone else handle the details. I did not want nails that looked like I'd spent 15 minutes sticking plastic tips onto my fingers in the bathroom.

Bloom Nails delivered on that front.

My hands instantly looked more put together, and I caught myself admiring my nails throughout the day. Which, if we're being honest, is probably the whole point of getting a pretty manicure in the first place.

Five Days Later, and They’re Still Going Strong

Of course, a fresh set of nails is always going to look good immediately after application. What I really wanted to know was how they'd hold up after a few days of normal life.

Because as much as I'd love to spend my days delicately holding iced coffees and typing with the grace of someone who's never had to open a stubborn package, that is simply not my reality.

Five days after applying my Rosy Milk Tea nails, they were still holding up beautifully.

No signs of loosening. No nails threatening to pop off at the most inconvenient possible moment. Nothing that made me feel like I needed to start carrying emergency nail glue in my purse.

They were still firmly in place, with no indication that they were about to come loose.

For a set of press-ons, that was a big win.

Naturally, I'm curious to see how much longer they'll last, but five days in, I'm already impressed with their staying power.

So, Are Bloom Nails Worth Trying?

After trying Bloom Nails' Rosy Milk Tea press-ons, I can confidently say they delivered the salon-quality look I was hoping for.

The website was easy to navigate, choosing a design was almost painfully difficult because there were so many beautiful options, and the application process was simple enough that I didn't feel overwhelmed.

The packaging was another highlight. Having everything I needed included in one kit made the process convenient, and the nail glue applicator brush was an unexpected favorite.

But the nails themselves were the real star of the show.

They looked just as beautiful as the product photos, felt thick and sturdy, and gave me that freshly done manicure feeling without requiring an actual salon appointment. And after five days, they were still securely in place.

For anyone who loves having their nails done but doesn't always have the time, money, or patience for regular salon visits, Bloom Nails is worth checking out.

My only real complaint? I'm already thinking about which set I want next, and apparently, I've learned absolutely nothing about the dangers of browsing a beautiful nail website.
